LottaNerve,

As long as everyone sends in their pledges, I've got enough. I'll let you know. Thank you for the offer.

I had meant to copy this from another thread since it deals with donations for the annual fees for the website.

Marie and LottaNerve,

I hate to say this, but I'd like it if you could send in your donations of $10 each. One of our donors (one of the larger ones) just doesn't look like they're going to come through. I've sent this person a PM and an email (which is no longer valid) and I don't get any responses. The pledge was made over 4 weeks ago, so I really don't know what to do other than to ask for a little bit more money. We're $40 short. If you two could just give the $10 that you had pledged, that would put us almost all the way there.

Thank you.

Greg

It's really sad that not more people feel inclined to contribute to this site, which has helped so many of us. Crying or Very sad

They'll come through fine, guggi. We're just a little bit short. I'd rather stay positive about the issue of donations. It would be nice to get this over with, though.

I've received another $25 pledge from someone via a PM, so if Marie and LottaNerve just come through with their $10 pledges, I'm just $5 short, and I can live with that.

Thank you, everyone.

Thank you, Joe.

If anyone else has already sent some money and we end up going over $200, I'll just apply that to next year's bill and we won't owe as much.

Once the money is through coming in, I'll let everyone know where we stand.

Thank you everyone.

Dear Greg:

I sent you the money order yesterday. I sent $10 money order. I was in such a hurry/pain that I forgot to fill out the money order. I'm sure you can fill it out for me. If you have any problems with the money order, just let me know. Marie Payne. I'm sorry I can not afford to send more but that is life for me right now.

Thank you, Marie. I'll let you know when I receive your donation.

As it turns out, the $50 donation that I thought I wasn't going to receive I did get just a few days ago. It had been a month since the pledge was made and I had no way of contacting this person, so I felt that it may not come through. This was why I asked for more money. And then Joe Swift sent me $50 more.

So, we after getting Marie's contribution, we will be $55 over the necessary $200 we needed. I'll just apply that amount to next year's bill and we'll only need $145 for the 2011 fee.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the fees and thank you also to those who contribute in other ways. It means a lot to me and to everyone who is helped in any way by other forum members.

Greg
